Due to the pandemic, we are having to alter our rescue protocol. There are fewer GSD right now and we are not able to have our monthly adoption days. But we are constantly searching out good dogs to bring into the program and they don’t get posted on our website as quickly as they used to, since they need to be vetted and vet appointments are limited. Please bear with us and continue to check our website frequently or follow us on Facebook as we do have dogs in the pipeline waiting to go on our website.
Due to insurance restrictions children must be 6 years of age or older
and fencing must be 5' or higher and secure.
All dogs are in foster care, shown by appointment only. See Adoption Process.

Alex is a cuddle bug. He loves to play in the water and has lots of energy, so he would love an active family or another dog to play with. He had some digestion issues when he first arrived which could have been stress related. He was started on 1/4 teas of Tylan powder in his food once a day and his foster home reports he's doing very well now and they absolutely love him!

KC is a super sweet and beautiful girl. She is so over all that puppy nonsense of chewing everything in sight, keeping you up all night and needing constant supervision. She is in good health and looking forward to new adventures in her forever home.

Trimmer is such a love bug! He is a soft natured, happy and outgoing boy! He loves everyone he meets and is good with other dogs. He will be available as soon as he is fully vetted.

Living in a kennel makes Lucky very anxious. She is very sweet once she gets to know you, but initially she will need time to bond with her new family. In order to reduce her anxiety, we need to get her out of a kennel and into a loving home. Lucky has a strong prey drive and is currently anxious around other dogs, so she would do best in an adult home with large dog experience, no other pets and room for her to run. We are currently working with her to help her feel safe around other dogs and we are offering up to three paid training sessions with Tugdogs to an approved home. Adoption fees will be waived to a home where she can thrive.

Pixie is small but mighty. She is a happy girl and her tail never stops wagging. She gets along with other dogs and is housebroken. She seems curious about cats but not aggressive, so she may be ok with cats with the proper introduction.
